would it be x=-2?

Parth (parthkohli):

Get the base same again. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow (4^3)^x = (4^2)^{x - 1} }\) Multiply the inside exponent by outside exponent. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow 4^{3x} = 4^{2x - 2} }\) Equate the exponents. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow 3x= 2x - 2 }\) \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow x = -2 }\)

Parth (parthkohli):

Correct :)
