A quality control inspector found flaws in 13 out of 150 sweaters. 5. Find the probability that a sweater has a flaw. Round to the nearest tenth of a percent. 0.8%12 8.7% 12% 6.8% 6. Suppose the company produces 500 sweaters a day. How many will not have flaws? 43 sweaters 457 sweaters 496 sweaters 58 sweaters 7. Suppose the company produces 600 sweaters a day. How many will have flaws? 457 sweaters 43 sweaters 52 sweaters 548 sweaters
@NerddSwaqqq1226 Can 13 be factored?
I. Have. No. Clue. lol
You know what's a prime no.?
yes I do.
Like, a simplified fraction?
Because that cannot be simplified any more.
ok so for the first question, you have all you need there. 13 flaws our of 150 sweaters means 13/150 = probabilty of being flawed
for the next two questions, you take the same probability (13/150 = X?) and multiply that probability by 600 and then 700 for each of those answers. does that make sense?
