LOL..... Explanations should come first.....
ok
Question #1 (5x2 + 3x + 4) − (2x2 − 6x + 3) For this problem all u have to do is times a -1 by the right half of the expression 5x^2+3x+4-2x^2-6x+3 simplifies to: 3x^2+9x+1 value of b=9 Question #2 same thing as problem one just multiply by a negative 1 since thats what is in front of the parenthesis Question #3 Just add them together (3x - 2)+(x^2-5)+(2x+7) isnt this really just (3x - 2)+1*(x^2-5)+1*(2x+7) so this simplifies to: x^2 + 5x Question #4 (4x − 6) − (5x + 1) this is the same idea as problem 1 and 2 (4x − 6) − 1*(5x + 1) times by a negative 1 4x-6-5x-1 Answer: -x-7 Question #5 (x + 6y) - (3x − 10y) this is the same ideas as problem 1,2, and 4 (x + 6y) -1* (3x − 10y) Question #6 (3x − 5) + (3x + 6) 3x-5+3x+6 combine like terms.... Answer: 6x+1
