Come up with 2 real world examples of situations that use function rules. Think about your daily life, your home, or the community you live in for ideas. Create a table of values showing at least 4 input and ouput values for each of your two situations. You may need to come up with some mock values for your tables.

yes! because we use fractions to divide our hour into halves

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u guys help me i dont get how to do this at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, you could use the schedule of your day as an example of a function. You can't be in two places at once, right? So that means that for every input (time of day), there's only one output (where you are).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could u give em an example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For example, at 4:00, you are going to be at a certain place. Maybe you have basketball practice after school. Your schedule for your day will say "4:00 - Basketball." It's a function, because there's only one place that you'll be at 4:00. The input has only one output.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
