Find grammatical mistakes in the given sentence and correct the sentence. No less than fifty men were injured in the accident.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shouldn't than be then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. "than" is correct.

Are you sure it is supposed to be 'no less'. Because 'no less' means that it has to be more than fifty men injured. No more would mean less than fifty men were injured. Otherwise it sounds and looks grammatically correct.

It could be too wordy...? Maybe change "No less than fifty" to "More than fifty." ? Just a thought.
