What is the definition for the period of a markov chain? I know the definition for the period of a state. But I can't find the definition for the period of the markov chain itself. Thanks.

I've read through that. It doesn't say anything about the period of the markov chain, just the states. But I think I've figured it out. I think that if the Markov chain is irreducible, then all states have the same period. Thanks.

Lol, I just googled it muahahaha

Lame. Also there's a theorem that bakes up what I observed. All states in a communicating class have the same period. I guess that makes sense actually...

I haven't even finished calculus.

lol. Well I wish you luck sir.
