How can geothermal energy be used to heat your home?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Heat pumps move heat from one place to another - from outside to inside a home, for example. That's why they're called "heat pumps."' in this way geothermal energy can be used to heat homes in this way that they suck or absorb heat from the sorroundings or sun and pump inside the home..:)..:)
