PLEASE HELP. I'M DOING A TEST AND NEED ANSWERS FAST! Any help is appreciated... 1.) Which of the following points lie in the solution set to the following system of inequalities? y < -3x + 3 y < x + 2 (1, -5) (1, 5) (5, 1) (-1, 5) 2.)Which of the following points lie in the solution set to the following system of inequalities? y (less than or equal to) x - 5 y (less than or equal to) -x - 4 (1, 10) (-1, 10) (10, 1) (1, -10)
Ok for the first one you want to plug in x from one the answers into the x in the equation. If they both equal the y then your good and you have your answer.
Ok, so, just kinda fill in the blanks with some of my answers and see if they work?
yes for example (1, -5) the x point being 1 so plug it into the equation y < -3(1) + 3
As for the second on I'm not even REMOTELY sure what the answer is srry :/
Oooooh, alright then. Thank you so much! And it's okay, I'll try to figure out the second one. You're very smart :D (and that means alot coming from a TimeLord ;3 lol)
lol thanks shadow appreciate hope you get em right ^_^
You're welcome, Mud. :)
