i still need help i dont know what to do

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

He is simply showing you that you can split the image into shapes that you know how to solve, and therefore can use to solve the area of the object as a whole

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o ok so that is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Now you can simply solve this by finding the area of both box's which is h*w and adding them together. I'm sure you can find another way of splitting these

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

so you would just do Area of box 1 = Height*Width Area of box 2 = Height*Width Now just go Area of box 1 + Area of Box 2 = Area of entire Object
