Are these right? Which of the following factors does NOT affect the behavior of a gas in a closed container? the number of particles the average kinetic energy* the cohesive forces within the gas the size of the container Which is NOT a possible sign of a physical change? change in appearance change in volume the release of energy* change in color Which of the following types of substances would be least likely to dissolve in water? nonpolar molecule like cholesterol* polar molecule like ethyl alcohol ionic compound, such as magnesium chloride polar mole like the
1. the cohesive forces within the gas 2. change in volume 3. nonpolar molecule like cholesterol
although 2. im unclear...
I'm pretty sure it's the release of energy because that's for chemical change.
and freazing of ice? there is energy released!
Yes, that's what threw me off to but no where in my book does it say that release of energy is physical change.
earlier somebody also asked that question and i must say that i dont know! but then also my guess isnt right...
That's alright. I'm just going to go with my answer because for Chemical Change is says that a sign for it is is the release or gain of energy and not for physical change.
