Since you have the zeroes, just get everything back on one side again and set ti equal to zero.
x = -2
x + 2 = 0

x = 2
x - 2 = 0

Now, multiply them together and foil.
(x + 2)(x - 2)
x^2 - 4
THis is a difference in squares pattern.
