Which part of a printed book is the best place to look to find related information that is important but not part of the book proper? A. the table of contents B. the index C. the appendix D. any bibliographies the book contains

I think it is the appendix, since ll sorts of information can be included in an appendix. As a general rule, this section of a book contains information which would not have been appropriate in the primary text of the book, but is still important. Appendices may also be used to present information in a well-organized way which makes it easy to look up. Hope that helps.
