Nigel read the following statements. Statement 1: If two lines intersect, then they intersect in exactly one point. Statement 2: If two distinct planes intersect, then they intersect in exactly one line. Which of these options is correct? Statement 1 and Statement 2 represent theorems. Statement 1 represents a postulate and Statement 2 represents a definition. Statement 1 and Statement 2 represent postulates. Statement 1 represents a definition and Statement 2 represents a theorem.

Um...postulates and theorems have a very obscure difference. A postulate cannot be proved and a theorem can be proved. There is also a lot of controversy on what's a theorem and what's a postulate. It depends on what book you're using.

its a question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. I just don't have the answer. It should be in the textbook you're using. Sorry. :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its online.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then it should be on the website you're using . Definitely if you're using an online school.
