How do I find the exact value of cotangent 7pi/6?

Use the unit circle. 7π/6 is the ordered pair (-√3/2, -1/2) Then, use the fact that cot is x/y and plug the values in. (-√3/2)/(-1/2) = √3 is the answer.
So the 7 next to pi tells me how many segments I should count to find the ordered pair?
