jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Are you familiar with any properties on kites?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

With any kite, the angles between the unequal sides are equal. So this means that angle A and angle C are equal.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

So m < A = m < C = 110 We know that this kite is a quadrilateral, so the angles must add to 360 degrees So m < A + m < B + m < C + m < D = 360 110 + 35 + 110 + m < D = 360 255 + m < D = 360 m < D = 360-255 m < D = 105

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

which means that angle D is 105 degrees

I think I get it!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that's great :)
