ok
1.) (4, 3) 2.) (-8, 0) I believe. I haven't done much with glide reflections. However, I believe that's what it is.
Actually: 2.) is wrong. I think it's (0, -8)
First, we apply the translation on the point H(-4,5): (-4, 5) --> (-4 + 6, 5 - 2) = (2, 3) Then, we find the point on the opposite side of x=3 whose distance is the same to x=3 as (2, 3) and makes a perpendicular to x=3 |dw:1338598958618:dw| For #2, Apply the translation: (-4, 5) --> (-4 - 4, 5 - 5) = (-8, 0) The reflection over y=x essentially reverses the x- and y-value: (0, -8)
