Nancy drew parallelogram ABCD as shown. On the same grid she will draw parallelogram PQRS similar to parallelogram ABCD with the ratio of corresponding side lengths PQ and AB equal to 2 : 1. If the coordinates of vertex P are (-4, 4), what could be the coordinates of vertex Q? Answer (-8, 8) (-4, 10) (2, 4) (8, 3)

(2, 4) since the ratio is 2:1, the distance PQ must be twice that of AB. since AB=3 units, PQ must be 6 units. The point (2, 4) the the other point that correspond and has a distance of 6 units from P
