These questions are on a worksheet (to help study for a Chemisty chapter exam) next week, but I have no idea what the answer to them is (and I read each page like 4x and that didn't help: Questions: 1) An element has an atomic number of 13. How many protons does it have? How many electrons does it have? 2) This same element has a mass number of 27. How many neutrons does it have? 3) An atom has the atomic number of 16. How many electrons are in the first shell? The second shell? The third shell? How many valence electrons does the atom in #6 have?
