Hello everyone.  I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question.  I am writing a paper and have a list.  It is cited from the author and date.  My professor has asked for a page number.  The article is from the internet with no page number.  What do you put instead of the page?

How many "pages" is it on the internet?  Sometimes you have to scroll down, or click on 'next' to see more.  If this is the case, use that as the page number.  If it is all on one screen, I would just put page one.  I don't know the rule, here, but it just makes sense, to me.  Good luck!

What is the formatting requirement?  I know for APA formatting you only give the page number when you use a direct quote and if there's no page number, you put the paragraph number
