treat "like" radicals as like terms.... 9sqrt7 and sqrt7 are "like" terms there. so like in algebraic expressions, 9x and x are like terms and you can combine them: 9x + x = 10x so 9sqrt7 + sqrt7 = 10sqrt7 and don't forget to include the unlike term in your answer..:)
