A square piece of paper 140 mm on a side is folded in half along a diagonal. The result is a 45° – 45° – 90° triangle. What is the length of the hypotenuse?

The non-hypotenuse sides of the triangle are 140mm each. hypotenuse^2 = sideA^2 + sideB^2 or,hypotenuse^2 = (140*140) + (140*140) or,hypotenuse = 197.99 (round to 198)
