OpenStudy (compassionate):

How would I classify a triangle only given the degrees? 45, 45, 90 is a right angle. 12, 108, 59 cannot form a triangle. But what about: 111, 34, 135 and: 26, 65, 89 One of these triangles is a obtuse angle and one is acute.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

45, 45, 90 is a right isosceles is not a triangle angle sum needed is 180 and the angle sum is 179 111 + 34 + 135 = 280 greater than 180 so not a triangle... a triangle can only have 1 obtuse angle 26 + 65 + 89 = 180 so it is a triangle with all angles less than 90 so its an acute angle triangle
