There is world hunger b/c economy is bad, people make money for it but the govt.(government) Doesn't take action. World hunger can end if we make more money, save it all, and then possibly write a letter to the govt. So that they can take action... etc. :3

Also, you'll need an attention-getter, and a short, personal story.

An attention-getter, in this case, might be pictures of starving children. It sounds cruel, but you want your audience to feel something. If they feel something, they will be more inclined to listen to what you have to say. Which is what you want from a speech.

Your personal story could be about why you decided to talk about this topic. Maybe you saw a picture, or a T.V. show that pulled at your heartstrings. Or, maybe you have younger siblings, and you feel protective of them. When you make a topic real for YOU, your audience will be more interested in hearing the rest.

Budget cuts cause workers to bring their kids to keep productive activity, to make more money by having the kids make the items sold w/o them working. Because people don't have enough time to find workers, and children that are being used are more likely to have no money to support their family.

1.According to Linda Bickerstaff(2010) the main idea about this subject is child slavery today
Facts:
-A person who is owned or controlled y another person is a slave
-slaves have no freedom
-slaves are treated like animals, not people
-Slaves can be bought, kidnapped, or victimized
-Never get a break
In conclusion Linda Bickerstaff says slaves are treated not as people, but as work animals




2. Another idea, by Kaye Stearman(unknown date) is that child labor deprives children
Facts:
-Get little or no schooling
-Some killed or injured at work
-Some sexually abused
-Forced to grow up faster
-Some physically abused
In conclusion Kaye Stearman says children that are used for child labor are deprived for things needed for living.
