Mary's test grades were 80, 92, 83, 83, and 85. Mary's teacher recorded two of her grades incorrectly. Instead of an 80, Mary's first test score should have been a 74. Instead of a 92, Mary's second test score should have been a 98. Which measure(s) of central tendency are affected by this change?

Isn't it range?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it cant be it is either mean median mode or none

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mean, because it's average out all the numbers!

None then. The numbers change by the same amout so it's not mean, they were already rthe lowest and highest so it's not median. It's not mode becasue the new numbers aren't repeated.
