Do you think that it's crippling to answer ten questions that just one person asked? Is it okay to give the answer and the formula?
What I mean is, is it okay to check someone's entire homework assignment, not just one question like most people usually do?
I think it is defeating the purpose of "helping". I've seen this done multiple times, but it's hard to keep people from practically posting their, as you said, 'entire homework assignment'.
@rebeccaskell94 Yes. I agree. I was worried, the poor kid didn't know how to do any of the processes.
Yes, I had a user asking how to convert percentages and after three problems I just stopped. I explained it to them. It was simple. They weren't even trying.
Interesting, I was explaining the percentages as well.. is there a place where I can find out more about these issues?
Here is your best bet. This is where the site mods go and review issues. :)
Did you send a link? :S If you did, I never got it! I just feel like the clueless freshman who needs to read the rules!
No, they go through here when they are on. The people who have names that are purple are site mods. Like the post under you with @mattfeury. And, no worries, I'm just happy you're speaking intelligibly, feel free to ask anything you need!
Thank you, I appreciate the guidance!
No problem!
*checking* someone's assignment is very okay *answering* otherpeople's assignment is not okay...you turn out to be the loser *answering with explanation* is moderately okay..it's not suggested but if you're hungry for those virtual gifts with zero intrinsic value called medals then do as you please *explaining WITHOUT answers* is best
