This would be a cup fungi or otherwise know as the Ascomycetes. There are many different types of Ascomycetes. Some like this one above, will produce a cup-shape fruiting body, which will have spore-bearing surface on their tops, that are often stalk-less and have a disk-shaped or cup-shaped structure-- almost looks like an ear. They will have fertile tissue that will be lining the upper/concave surface, they are drab to brightly color, and they will grow on wood, soil, or dung. Hope that helps! n_n
