How do I solve two-step equations?
lol.. i foot after the other..:)
Hey, \[5.12 = n/6.3-11.1\] 5.12+11.1 = n/6.3 16.22 * 6.3 = n Is that right?
so n= 102.168
Wow slow down please. Can you break it down some? Sorry
ha ha ok \[5.12=\frac{n}{6.3}-11.1\] step one add 11.1 to both sides
\[16.22=\frac{n}{6.3}\] step 2 multiply both sides by 6.3 giving \[16.22 \times 6.3 \rightarrow 102.186 = n\]
\[12=5w-3 \] so\[12+3 =5w\]
\[15=5w \rightarrow \frac{15}{5} =w \rightarrow w=3\]
how about this one as you posted it on the prev question
1) add 3 to both sides 2) divide both sides by 5 w=3
good looks like you got it :D
Ok thanks!!(-_-)
ok maybe you haven't got it :( what sup
I do now so if I have 7x+5=19, I would subtract 5 from both sides. Then find out what number *2 gives you 14. well that is how i got it...
ok yep 1) subtract 5 gives 7x=14 2) divide by 7 gives x=14/7 x=2
Ok Thank you so much... you have good teaching skills
thanks :D
