An object suspended from a spring is oscillating up and down. The distance from the high point to the low point is 30 cm, and the object takes 4 s to complete 5 cycles. For the first few cycles, the distance from the mean position, d(t) , in centimeters, with respect to the time, t seconds, is modelled by a sine function. how would i draw the graph for this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sin oscillates between 1 and -1, so that makes it really useful for modelling a situation like this. 0 would be right at the mean, 1 would be the highest above that that the object gets, while -1 would be the lowest point that the object gets. |dw:1338667158230:dw|
