MIT 18.02 Multivariable Calculus, Fall 2007 13 Online
OpenStudy (wikiemol):

Hey, Im new to this, and just got done with my first year of calculus. My teacher says its going to be really hard to learn Multivariable calculus on my own in time for the AP Calculus BC exam next year. Do you think its as hard as she makes it seems?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As far as I know there is no multivariable calculus on the AP BC exam. You do need to be familiar with second semester calculus topics i.e. taylor/maclaurin series, other sequences and series, integration by parts etc.

I would have to agree with jsmerson. I personally hadn't taken the ap exam in highschool but everyone I know that has had only taken a one year course in highschool and got to topics such as simple differential equations, trig substitution, partial fractions ect, as well as taylor series. I am also learning Multi-variable, differential equations and linear algebra from this site this summer and so far it has not been too difficult.

it is not at all as she makes it seem... I was in an AP Calc AB class and very easily took the BC exam instead. Also, there's no multivariable on the AP Exams.
