How can I download the 601 library to create State Machines and from where ?

Well not sure I understand the question but here is what I did. I downloaded the offline matrial and then I downloaded each video file and made a new folder in content called video. changed all the links in the html files. Now it looks like I am operating on the web.Also good for distrabution to poor areas.

I think you mean the 6.01 Python Library? If so click on the "Software and Tools" link on the left hand side of the screen. Then find the appropriate link for your operating system (I am using Mac OSX for example), and follow instructions for your OS. Make sure you have the correct version of Python first. I had Python 2.7.2 on my laptop, and had to re-install using Python 2.6.6 to make the 6.01 software work.

Hi Edwin, Glad to see you are making progress. I am currently struggling through lecture 5...arrgh! Two things: 1. You should open this as a "new" question so it will be seen by more people and you will likely get a faster response. 2.
