The life span of fruit fly have a bell-shaped distribution, w/ mean of 33 days and standard deviation of 4 days. The life span of two (2) randomly selected fruit flies are: 34 days, 30 days, find the z-score that corresponds to each life span. Can someone show me how to do this problem? I have a test tomorrow...

Observed mean here is \[(34+32)\div2\] Therefore use the Z formula which is \[Z= (Observed - Sample) / Standard Deviation \] \[Z= (32-33)/ 4 = (-1/4)\]
