What is a good definition on uncertainty?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are talking about uncertainty Principle then it goes like this the more precisely the position of a particle is determined, the less precisely the momentum is known in this instant, and vice versa. It is pretty easy to understand but If you want a proper definition Definition: The scientific principle stating that it is impossible to determine with perfect accuracy both the position and momentum of a particle at any given point in time. but i don't think they have a definition as such
