Would it be D? The figure shows a right triangle. What is r ÷ q equal to? Answer sin x° cos x° cos y° tan y°

It's either sin(y) or cos(x). Since sin(y) isn't a choice, it has to be cos(x)

If it was tan(y), then tan(y) = r/p, which isn't what they want.
