Jeff stores coffee powder in a steel container with a capacity of 252.3 cubic inches. He uses a glass container to store sugar. The two containers are congruent cylinders. If the glass container has a height of 6.2 inches, what is its radius? Answer 1.8 inches 2.1 inches 3.1 inches 3.6 inches

@Mertsj can u help?

OpenStudy (jlastino):

I'll assume that the container is cylindrical The volume of the cylinder is given (252.3 in^3) and its height is 6.2 inches And the formula for that is V=Bh Where the base (circle) B= pi r^2 so 252.3= pi r^2 (6.2) how would you find the base?

OpenStudy (jlastino):

I mean the radius of the base lol
