256 cubic inches...the way to figure it out is as follows: Find the volume of the rectangular vase: Volume=length X width x height the key here is to keep track of the units. The units of length, width and height area all inches so we simply plug them in Volume= 4 inches x 4 inches x 16 inches = (4x4x16) inches^3 or we simply write 256 cubic inches (cubic denotes volume -square inches is for area)
