3x = 8x+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It started as x over 2x+1 equals 4 over 3\[x\]

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

deduct '8x' from both sides: 3x-8x = 8x - 8x +4 =>-5x = 4 Now divide both sides by '-5' whaddya get?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

yeah very good.. now find out 'x'?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, -4 over 5 ?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Yo! - get this thingy now? :)
