How do you solve, ∫1/(1+√x) dx with substitution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

set u = 1 + sqrtx then solve for du

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you'll get something like: u = 1 + sqrtx du = 1/2(sqrtx) dx 2du = 1/sqrtx dx and then you can plug u in and exchange dx for 2du, and it becomes a much simpler indefinite integral
