Keith ran in a marathon. It took him 3 hours and 2 minutes to run 26 miles. If he ran at the same rate for the whole race, how many minutes did it take him to run each mile? (1 hour = 60 minutes)

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Parth (parthkohli):

\( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow 26:182 = x:60 }\) Solve this proportion :D

OpenStudy (matt101):

You'd want to solve 26:182 = 1:x That gives the number of minutes per mile. Using x:60 will instead give you the number of miles run per 60 minutes.
