According to Ohm's law what would happen to the current if resistance was increased? Increase Decrease Vary Nothing

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

\[V=IR\]where V is voltage, I = current and R is resistance. So if you increase R and keep V constant, what do you think will happen to I?

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

You can also rearrange it to get \[I=\frac{V}{R}\]...so if you increase R, what happens to I?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[I\propto R^{-1}\]
