hey guys (; so in my lang. arts class, theres an extra credit opportunity for composing like a piece that would go along with the movie romeo and juliet (cuse were reading it) and i was wondering if you guys had tips on composition btw i play advanced violin and super beginning piano, and i have to perform it too, so maybe composition for solo violin?
You're language Arts class should be teaching you basic writing; Like punctuation and capitalization. ;D However, I think @mmoul would be able to help you with this one when she comes on. :)
@rebeccaskell94 "You're" is a contraction that replaces you are. There should also be a comma after "like," and like should not be capitalized. Sorry I couldn't help myself. @mrorchestra57 What I would do is create a motif which features throughout the song. A really easy way to write a song is to write 4 bars and have bars 1 and 3 be the exact same and have bars 2 and 4 be variations of each other. This makes the song sound balanced. I think this is called a period. I could probably help more if you need it =)
hahaha touché @mathdod That sir, was awesome.
@rebeccaskell94 =) You're a good sport.
