In a parallelogram, the opposite sides are parallel, and equal. Here, as they are equal, we can take any of the line segments adjacent to them as the transversal, and as we know that two angles opposite to two corresponding sides are equal, we may say that this has the corresponding angle theorem true. well, we have this true only in the case of parallel lines, so then we have a parallelogram.
