how can i increase my smart score
in a short time
or just answer questions, engage with other people in the chats and use teamwork, teach dont give answers and stuff like that, o and also asking questions kind of help
@strenesmee Yeah Parth increased his score very quickly. Do what @karatechopper says and if you want to know more about smart score see this post. http://openstudy.com/users/dpflan#/updates/4f8e1d22e4b000310fac92ff

A few of those people earned their score in a matter of days or weeks though, which is ridiculous. It seems like the way to do that is: Spend a ludicrous amount of time on here. Post in a lot of questions. You can get more medals by giving lots of answers than by taking time and giving good answers. It's an unfortunate situation, but that's the reality.
Lol @SmoothMath A bit cynical much? x)
I wouldn't call it cynicism simply because I still think something can be done about it. A true cynic would consider it a lost cause not worth the effort of arguing about.
ugh puhlease!! im tired of people saying ANSWER QUESTIONS TO INCREASE SMARTSCORE!!! that is such screwed up logic >.< you are devaluing the purpose of the site by just merely answering!!!! dont focus on the score!! just focus on helping people..explain the concepts..the score has no intrinsic value!! it will increase later on..it's the value of teaching someone that's important!! sheesh >:( if people are gonna go answering questions just to increase their score then that is false incentive...next thing you know people are gonna be racing for medals instead of spending time to teach :/
@strenesmee if you want a secret to increase score...take time to answer 3-10 questions with detailed explanations and lots of replies between you and the asker...it's as simple as that...answering questions for the sake of medals is a cheat :/ personally i am against it..i hate it when people answer for the sake of answering...i have replied to hundreds of questions with a lot of replies because the asker couldnt get it yet i have the patience not to give the answer but explain more
i find people appreciating you for helping them MUCH MORE VALUABLE than that bar on the upper right corner increasing
answering for the sake of medals just leads to vanity, narcissism and greed...these are not admirable traits and it will get you kicked out of the site faster than you can say supercalifragelisticexpialidocius...so if i were you take time to teach
it may not increase your score as fast as that (cheating) answering a lot of questions...but at least you're helping other humans
so to all of you out there who keeps telling people to answer questions to increase score (ahem @ParthKohli ) could you please stop it because it is devaluing the teaching values of this site...advising people to do that is like telling people to just answer snipe..and we all hate that
rather please tell them what always say..."take time to answer 3-10 questions with detailed explanations and a lot of replies between you and the asker"
and @SmoothMath i agree with you...i am so darn pissed with people giving answers here and there just to get medals and improve their score >.<
i mean just look at me! im like one of the level 99 people who has the lowest problem solving! yet im also one of the highest in terms of smartscore...it just proves that problem solving doesnt dictate the score! and besides..you dont see me stooping to answer sniping just to increase my score =_=
calm down lgb:)
lol
i will not calm down until the youth have learned their lesson! if i just sit around and let people become bad influences and advise these kinds of advises then i have my fault in the corruption >:( i prefer to act while it is fresh
The "youth" aren't reading this xD
@parthkohli now it is
hahahaha good job xD
there.. that deserved a metal.. ;-)
medal i mean lol :D
