If the entire book is by the same author, then you would cite the book normally. For example:
Borgo, D. (2005). Sync or swarm: improvising music in a complex age. Continuum International Publishing Group.

If the case study is in a specific chapter by a different author than the author of the book, then you'd cite it like a book chapter. For example:
Whitworth, A., & Benson, A. (2010). Open source course management systems in distance education. In G. Veletsianos (Ed.), Emerging Technologies in Distance Education. Edmonton, CA: Athabasca University Press.
