Question in the pic!

OpenStudy (aroub):

Square root property of equality

OpenStudy (aroub):

..What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My answer was SAS.

OpenStudy (aroub):

Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because f = r, m = m, and Both have congruent 90degree angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But idk I oculd be wrong.

OpenStudy (aroub):

Okay, you're wrong. You cant say that f=r by SAS because it is not a triangle if you see step 5 it says triangle NRM is congruent to triangle EFD by SSS. What they did in step 4 is they used the square root property of equality to cancel the squared in step 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, ok thank you aroub your such a big help :).

OpenStudy (aroub):

Anytime =)
