The elderly can have impaired immune systems, making them susceptible to infections that can take longer to heal. Which of the following would be most helpful in preventing these types of illnesses in the elderly? Older people should avoid exercise so that their bodies are not exposed to stress. Older people should regularly take antibiotics to prevent development of infection. Older people should be vaccinated for common viruses like the flu virus. Older people should avoid vaccinations as it could compromise their immune systems.

I think is the last choice 'Older people should avoid vaccinations as it could compromise their immune systems'. For the first choice, i think elderly do moderate exercise to maintain healthy aging lifestyle. For second choice, i think if taking antibiotic, the antibiotic can also kills off healthy gut bacteria. Some bacteria can develop antibiotic resistant gene and this antibiotic that the bacteria resistant to will become useless. For third choice, the speed of making new immune cells is slower in elderly. I think the 'elderly' immune cells will be too slow to defend the body from the vaccine. This is my opinion. Correct me if i'm wrong.
