When a an equation is (x-2)(x+1)(x+3)/(x-2)(x-1)(x+3)mwhen u take out the # from the parenthesis do the # signs change????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take out the number from the parenthesis along with the sign before it. For instance x-2, take out -2 and multiply it with something else. The sign of -2 will only change if you multiply it with a negative term.
