Find the surface area of a square pyramid with a slant height of 11 and a base side measure of 16. a.602 b.604 c.606 d.608
If the base is a square then you can find its area using the formula for the area of a square. For the sides, they are isosceles triangles with base 16 and other two sides 11, find the height using the pythagorean theorem and then calculate the area using the formula for the area of a triangle. Multiply by four and add to the area of the base. Alternatively, just look up the formula for the surface area of a square pyramid :P
that didnt help me. im a senior trying to graduate next week and i need to get these classes done and math is my worst subject. especially when its done on the computer and not with a teacher
*cough* i sent a message ^_^ explaining the formula :|
