solve for the variables 2x+y-z=-2 -3x+6y-5z=5 -x+7x-z=7

ick
Are you guys using matrices?
never hear of that, so i dont think so.
bunch of elimination and back substitution. donkey work for machines http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2x%2By-z%3D-2%2C+-3x%2B6y-5z%3D5+%2C-x%2B7x-z%3D7
OKs, check the last equation, did you make a typo. There's no y-term.
7y** sorry
If the answer is enough satellite did a good job, do you also want to see the how?
i didn't click on that link... should i?
Yes. It's the best online and general calculator on the planet earth today.
ohh okay, well thank youu!!
It will only give you the answer for this problem though, not the work.
well the answer i posted must be wrong because i copied and pasted
that is, i did not catch the typo here is the correct one notice i just put commas between them, the wolf did the rest' http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2x%2By-z%3D-2%2C+-3x%2B6y-5z%3D5+%2C-x%2B7y-z%3D7
i also need to know if it is "no solution" "only one solution" or infinite solutions" if its "only one solution" then i need the variables, otherwise i dont.. :/
how do i determine that?
take the determinant but if you are not using matrices, then you have to solve that is why i would use a machine, this is very tedious
ohh okay
