i don't get it. how would i draw a graph if they only give me the diameter of the tire?

the diameter of the tire will basically tell you that the nail will either be 0 inches to 52 inches off the ground. when the tire picked up the nail, the nail will go up then back down after the tire rolled 1 full rotation.... how long is that? it's the cirumference...

ah okay ! uhmm... so to find what the height of the nail is above ground i have to find the equation of the function first right? :S then convert 0.1 km into cm then plug it into the equation right?
