why wouldnt he be able to hang himself?! how prisoners can tie a piece of cloth to the radiator or a bed or window bar and just drop down...

The room could be small enough where the person could hold himself up from pushing with his legs against the side walls. That would hold him up off the ground.

The room could be 4 ft wide and 30 ft high. He could then die by pushing himself up against the side walls and then dropping down and smashing his head.
